Droids is a game I wanted to make after playing lots of Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. This is 2D platformer using 3D assets. There is networking support. I was leaning towards making a cooperative game but didn't get to that part yet. Sometimes the networking is a bit funky on the web player, but otherwise works pretty well.

Use A and D to move left and right. Space jumps, and shift fires.

Networking and the jumping mechanism was the trickiest parts here. The networking turned out pretty well and has some great prediction built in. The game played really smoothly when we had a user from Japan playing with me and others, and didn't appear to have any lag.

Another neat thing I explored in this game was the use of widgets in Unity to make the editor work better with positioning abstract things that aren't necessarily visible in the game such as spawn points that are chosen randomly.
