At times it seems I have an obsession with Warhammer 40,000. I collect the books, miniatures, and video games. My hunger for their content knows no bounds. It's also spilled over into my game development. The Path is the manifestation of the love of the universe 40k provides.
The Path is a game about the enigmatic Eldar, or at least one particular one. As an Eldar you get to explore the different Eldar specialties - something they call The Path. The game itself is a twin-stick shooter (one set of controls lets you move around freely, the other set of controls fires in a direction or at your mouse location).
In this game I got a chance to use the character controller for collision and movement, ray casting for collection detection (with the shooting), and iTween for the introduction. I also did a lot of Blender work with getting the model created, rigged, and animated.
